Talk to a payment specialist
Whether you are opening a first merchant account, replacing an arrangement that is not working, or asking about hardware.
Messages are read by the team that would handle the account, not by a queue that forwards them on.

Questions
Before you get in touch
How quickly will somebody reply?
Enquiries are read by the team that would handle the account rather than by a queue that forwards them on. Apex does not publish a response-time guarantee, because one that held for every enquiry regardless of complexity would not be worth much. If something is urgent and you are an existing merchant, use the support form and say so.
Do I have to be ready to apply?
No. Most first conversations are about whether a change is worth making at all. If your current arrangement is fine, we will tell you that.
What should I not send you?
Never send a full card number, a bank account number or a password - by form, by email, or over the phone. Nobody at Apex will ask for one, and anybody who does is not from Apex.
I am an existing merchant with a problem. Is this the right form?
The support form is faster. It reaches the queue that triages by urgency, and asks the questions that let somebody act without a round trip.
Can you tell me a rate before we speak?
Not honestly. A rate quoted before anybody has seen how a business actually processes is a number invented to win a conversation, and it changes the moment somebody looks properly.
Ready when you are
Would rather start the application?
The merchant application asks for enough to review your profile properly, and tells you what else underwriting will need.
