Accessibility
What this website does for accessibility, and what it does not do yet.
Last updated 5 August 2026.
What we aim for
This website targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
What is in place
- A skip link to the main content, first in the tab order
- Semantic landmarks, one first-level heading per page, and heading levels that never skip
- Visible focus on every interactive element
- Menus, the mobile drawer, the payment-rail selector and modal dialogs all operable by keyboard, with focus trapped where a dialog is open and returned when it closes
- Form labels tied to their inputs, errors associated with the field they belong to, and a live region announcing that validation failed
- Text and background combinations checked against AA contrast; body text on every background clears it
- Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels
- Full support for the reduced-motion preference: animation is replaced with immediate display, and ambient background motion never starts
What has not been done yet
We would rather say this than imply a level of testing that has not happened.
- No screen-reader testing pass with NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver has been completed
- No automated audit tool has been run against the built pages
- Contrast has been calculated rather than measured with an instrument
If something does not work
Tell us. Use the contact page, describe the page and what happened, and we will fix it. If a page is unusable for you, say so and we will take your enquiry another way in the meantime.
